EYF in a nutshell…

Well it’s all over for another year! *sad face*
The colours, the comradery, the classes, the ceilidh… (did I mention the colours? Swoon!)

This year was bigger and better than ever! There was a magazine to accompany the festival with exclusive patterns… wool tribe magazine!
Stephen West was promoting a brand new pattern.. Knit-N-Slide.. Which isn’t even available on ravelry yet! (And of course it’s awesome and next on my list!)
La bien aimee had a custom colourway created using the colours of the EYF poster.. It was gorgeous!
Carol Fellers class (knitting the perfect sweater) was just brilliant, and she is so lovely!
The organisers and the security staff couldn’t have been nicer too, they went out of their way to accommodate Oakes (9 months) and I.. And despite a few funny looks and rude comments from fellow attendees (namely.. ‘this is hardly the place for a baby’!.. It’s ok, I know everyone’s different and we’re all entitled to our opinions.. In my opinion it was the perfect place for a happy baby who was taking in the sights and smells and sounds.. Grumpy, rude people who obviously have no patience and hate crowds on the other hand… ๐Ÿ˜‰ haha!) we were made to feel welcome!
Back to life.. Back to reality..
I’m going to knit up a storm and burn a hole in my stash.. And start saving now for next year! (10th and 11th of March.. Put it in your diarys folks!)

Goodnight Edinburgh, I will dream of you! ๐Ÿ˜‰ xo
