A Pleasant Day

Every once in awhile, our knitting group spends a lovely Saturday or Sunday afternoon in town drinking tea, eating cake, and generally just hanging out. It’s always pleasant and relaxing. This last Saturday was no different. We parked ourselves on the sofas at The Dock Cafe (Belfast’s only honesty box cafe!!) and we wiled away the afternoon – and our stash – chatting and crafting.

There was Nicky with her crocheted test tube (she’s crocheting a chemistry set. That’s right, we’re not all fluff on the brains. Ok, maybe we actually are!). Helen was frogging a crocheted blanket to be reknit into something else. And Anja diligently plodded through her rainbow Andrea’s Shawl (she’s already planning her next one).

Nikki plowed through her Barley hat on a mission:

And me? Well, I mostly ate cake. 😉
