It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Nope, not Christmas but the eve of the annual Dublin pilgrimage.

This time of year knitters write lists, check their stash, consult their pattern libraries and carefully consider what their purchases are going to be. They’ll have picked the perfect yarn to go with a pattern they’re yearning to knit.

Until, that is, they get there. The yarn fumes just get to them and all careful consideration and planning goes out the window. The frenzy sets in and they buy yarn like it’s going out of fashion!

And,  5 years later, they go back to Dublin knowing full well that the yarn they got the first time still hasn’t been used!  But that’s another story…

*please replace all instances of they with I. ..it’s all about me
