Come here my pretties!

Oh my! The lushiousness arrived yesterday from Artesano and they are truly delicious.

colour pop! POP!

colour pop! POP!

The colours are really bright and so vivid that I couldn’t help but snap a photo of them all snug in their plastic wrapper, just waiting to see what wondering things they turn into.

I was cajoled into getting some yarn of my own. I decided on Drake, a lovely dark teal green and was even told that I’m going to knit Echo Beach with it. I had been tempted by the yarn and pattern last year when we were on our annual knitting expedition to Dublin but didn’t get it – maybe I should try to have it knitted for Dublin this year?

Mine. My own. My precious.

Mine. My own. My precious.

Tomorrow is the yarn handover so there is bound to be lots of ooohhh’s and ahhhhh’s and everyone squishes their new yarn… but there is only one word to describe how lovely this yarn is:

even the yarn knows how tasty it is
